what was Eustace II of boulognes claim to the throne in 1066?

The brother-in-law of King Edward the Confessor(until 1055 when his English wife died), Eustace II was grandson of Baldwin, Duke of Flanders and on the female side descended from both Charlemagne and Alfred the Great.
He most likely thought he had the better claim to the English throne than the illegitimate William, and revolted unsuccessfully against the new king at Dover in 1067.
The members here known as Williamtheredforum know far more about the Normans and Frenchmen that invaded in 1066.
